In Dravaya gunn we learn to identify various plants and separate them from each other but it’s not possible for a student to learn them all at once and which requires remembering again and again, but how could you identify plant if you haven’t seen it? Or nor told by anyone! Because all the plants 252 of syllabus aren’t present in college and even we aren’t able to study all. But now a days technology plays a crucial role in every day life so is their anything about it too??? Can we use technology to identify various plants? Do they work fine? If something is their for it how can we get it? Answers to all these questions will be answered today in this post.
Their are few apps available in Google play store identifies plant quite well by using Camera of your smart phone. Most of these require premium version means you need to buy them but in trial you can use them ranging from 3 days to 7 days, 3 pics a day to 25 pics a day. Don’t worry here we will let you know solution for using them free for lifetime too. So let us proceed with app names :-

* Google lens also have feature to identify plant but i didn’t found it currently meet up with our need. Hope in future updates it could be used by us.
Here series is from what i found better. I tried them all with series of plants and then arranged them on the basis of it.

Picture This :-
We found it best available. I tested it with 4 plants available at my home. It identified quite well. Easy to use, takes time to identify plant. 7 days trail version after that you need to pay 429rs per year. Can identify 10000+ plants as told by app maker. Let us know not only scientific name but also common names too.

Plant lens :-
Can be used for free with ads but one can purchase premium with 120rs per month. Is faster then picture this, indentification is also superb but it’s UI isn’t better then picture this. It can be alternative if 1st isn’t available. Our check
Plant Net :-
Quite slow, shows you options to decide which plant it can be then you need to select. I feel like it’s picture this which i used i year back. Hope it comes to top with new features in new update.
Plant snap :-
Allows you to identify 25 plants per day in free version. That’s quite good for us. But seems similar to plant net. App makers say about 5 lakh plants can be identified with this app
