Similarities between Purush and Lok ( पुरुष व लोक )

Before starting Today’s topic that is Similarities between Purush (Human) and lok (Environment), we should understand the need why this principle was considered by Ayurvedic Acharya’s?? Why should we also consider it?

The main reason to deplict and elaborate this topic from Ayurvedic texts is that a person after understanding the similarities, will not harm the nature rather will protect it becoz both human and environment are in mutual relationship with each other. With the same wish we will try to elaborate today’s topic.

यावन्तो हि लोके मूर्तिमन्तो भावविशेषाः तावन्तः पुरुषे, यावन्तः पुरुषे तावन्तो लोके। पुरुषोऽयं लोकसम्मितः।।

अर्थात् :- लोक और पुरुष (Purush and lok) की इस समता सम्बन्धी ज्ञान से दोनों में अन्तर करने वाली विभेदक बुद्धि नष्ट हो जाती है और मनुष्य में सत्य बुद्धि उदय होती है, जिससे संसार के समस्त प्राणिमात्र में अपनत्व उत्पन्न होता है।

यावन्तो हि लोके मूर्तिमन्तो भावविशेषास्तावन्तः पुरुषे, यावन्तः पुरुषे तावन्ते लोके। ( च. शा. 5/3 )

अर्थात् :- लोक के अवयव भेद (परमाणु or cells) असंख्य हैं, पुरुष के अवयव भेद भी असंख्य हैं।

Similarities According to Modern

According to modern scientists, each matter is made up of atom and each living person is made up of cells either ( plant or animal cell ). Even atom or cell both are made up of Panch Mahabhoot, and in this section we will elaborate this in detail.

• Electron Radiates energy because of Agni Mahabhoot as Agni Mahabhoot is Tez; energy so without agni, energy is not possible.
• Atom have free space inside them, in that space electron revolve around nucleus, free space can’t be without Aakash Mahabhoot.
• Nucleus and electron are together becoz of Jal Mahabhoot, this can be co related with electrostatic as well as centrifugal force.
• Atom has weight because of Prithvi Mahabhoot.
• Electron revolves around nucleus becoz of Vaayu Mahabhoot because moving is not possible without it.
