WAKE UP IN BRHAM MUHURAT ( 3-4 am) :-
Ayurveda describes benefits of early wakeup it’s said that Brham muhurat is the time we recieve most of the dreams (good or bad) if we wake up early in the morning we won’t receive dreams and can start a day with good thoughts. We get enough time to plan our day. Not only in Ayurveda but it’s said all over the world as “Early to bed & early to Rise make a person Healthy Wealthy and Wise”. Even their are many books describing the importance of early rise like Robin Sharma’s “The 5am Club” , “The Power of 5am” etc. **This is Only for Healthy Person.
After wake up pray to God :-
Praying/thanking God for giving a new opportunity on a new day after wake brings good fortune. Along with this Acharya Bhav Parkash in his Samhita mentioned few things while praying :-
- Viewing face inside Ghee – increases life
- Viewing face inside Mirror – brings Glow to Skin
- Touching Gorochan – brings Fortune
- Touching Sarso – brings Fortune
Going to Washroom :-
According to Acharya Bhav Parkash it’s said that while using washroom other activities should be avoided becoz it decreases Life. This saying works accurately for today too as today’s gernation uses mobile phones even in washroom.
Brushing Teeth :-
Brushing of teeth in ancient times was done with dattun but as of today’s gernation it has been replaced by toothpaste. Still some things could be followed like size of toothbrush it’s mentioned that widht of brush should be not more then index finger. Brisheles should be soft so that gums don’t get Hurt. Taste should be katu ( like Karanj causes Victory in Life) , Tikat(like Neem), kashay(like Khair Decreases foul smell) for regular use and Madhur(like mahua) for Pittaj vikars. While Selecting our toothpaste we could see the indigents/ plant extracts according to purpose. Some of them are mentioned according to Bhav Parkash :-
- Ber taste sweet helps to make sound pleasant.
- Bel makes wealthy
- Aam causes disease free
- Sirus/shisham makes skin glowing
- Champak makes mind Stable
- Kadamb increases remembrance power
- Apamarg increases Patience and remembrance power
- Vijaysaar increases libdo.
- Pomgrande, kutaj, arjun makes skin glowing
- Chameli, tagar Decreases less Bad dreams.
- Supari, taal, hitaal, ketaki , baans, khajoor, Nariyal are known as trinraj should never be usef in toothpaste/datun.
** Constipation, Vomiting, asthmatic attack, facial paralysis, excessive thrust, heart & brain disorders should skip dattun.
Tounge clean :-
Now a days jibhi ( metal tounge cleaner) aren’t needed becoz toothbrushes have replaced them by equipping in them inside them. Things to be kept in mind while cleaning tongue, it should be cleaned slowly & softly (hardly can cause bleeding from tounge). Cleaning tounge removes impurities, tastelessness, & removes stiffness.
Gandush – washing mouth with water :-
It’s oftenly done now a days after toothpaste to remove it from mouth without knowing . But in Ayurveda it’s explained properly with a method. Benifits of gandush :- Decreases kaff, thrist, removes impurities from mouth. Benifits with type of water used :-
Hot water :- kaf shamak, lost food interest,facial and eye stiffness
Cold water:- raktpitt nashak, black heads, wrinkles
Nasyay – oiling of Nose :-
It helps in curing kaf disorders, removes foul smell from mouth, makes senses work more efficiently, destroys fever, and a person using it daily doesn’t get bald and hairs remains black with no black patches on skin.
Eating Paan :-
Helps to secrete digestive enzymes, increases hunger so that food can be easily digested. Should not be taken in pleular infusion, pitt disorders, poisoning, vertigo and eye disorders.
** Should not be taken more then 2 in no.
Abhyang :- Oil massaging Body :-
After eating Paan body should be massaged with Oil if complete body massage isn’t possible then 3 body parts(Foot, ear, head) should be especially massaged. Person with new fever ,dairrehea, kaff disorder, recently treated with vaman and virechan shanshodha chikitsa.
** For massaging oil is 8 times better then ghee.
- Benifits of massaging :- makes body relax, removes wrinkles, good for eyes, makes body strong and healthy, causes sleep, makes skin glowing and protects against skin Disorders.
- Benifits of Oil inside Ear :- कान की फुंसी नहीं होती, मैल नहीं होता, protects against eyebrow stiffness, increase capabilities of ear.
- Benifits of massaging head :- increases eyesight, cures all diseases of head, stops hairfall.
- Benifits of massaging foot :- causes sleep, causes happiness in eyes, makes body relax. Even legs should be massaged after tiredness
Excersize, yoga , gym :-
Now a days it’s preferred by most of the population due to gernal awareness about physical fitness. This was also understood in ancient gernation. Excersize increases hunger, decreases fat, helps in weight loss, help in making Muscles and packs. Excersize should not done by the person having vatt & pitt disorders, kids, old aged person.
** Excersize should be done only till half power is released,Signs of excersize should be stopped :-
- Taking oxygen fastly
- Feel of thrust
- Sweat from fore head, nose.
Mardan :- pressing body thoroughly :-
It’s good to press body parts after pressing body thoroughly and it’s practiced and told by today’s gym professionals and workout assistants. It help from the risk of excessive excersize problems like tuberculosis, Asthama, Raktpitt, Mental sickness, tiredness, sleeplessness, Cough, Vomiting.
Ubatan :- Pack on body :-
- It helps in absorbtion of sweat.
- Helps in removal of foul smell
- Increases libdo
- Increases blood formation
- Helps in weight loss and Decreases kaff
- Makes skin glowing & strong
Nail and hair cut if needed :-
According to Ayurveda nails should be cuted once in 5 days. As it increase glow, making look image. And it’s also stated that nose hair should never plucked becoz it weakens eyesight.
Bath:-
In Ayurveda bath is of 7 types, helps to fell fresh, increases hunger, cleans the body and increases libdo. It also decreases sweat, itching, skin tone, tiredness, heat. The person’s suffering from facial paralysis, diarrhea, constipation,eye Disorders should avoid taking bath.
** Hot water should not be used above neck as it weakens eyesight and also leads to hairfall.
After bath hair should be properly combed as it removes dandruff, impurities and lices. Also it increases glow, makes strong, brings good fortune and wealth.
Anjan – Surma/ kajal :-
In current world it’s used by most of the girls as makeup it Decreases itching in eyes, removes impurities, heat, pain, makes eyes beautiful, makes eyes stand sunlight and cold winds. It shouldn’t be used by person awake whole night, vomiting,tired , fever and head washed.
Pralep – Perfumes/ Deo drants:-
Pralep are substances that remove foul smell, vertigo, sweat, heat and brings good fortune,glow and increases confidence. According to seasons things can be mixed with chandan to make pralep:-
- Winters :- kesar, kala agar and chandan it causes hot sensation in body and protects from vaat and kaff disorders.
- Summers :- kapur ( camphour) , sugandhbala and chandan as it’s cold in nature and makes a good smell.
- Rainy :- kesar, kasturi and chandan becoz it’s not cold nor hot so suitable for the season.
Visist temple or seeing any Holy thing
Breakfast :-
Breakfast should be heavy diet and according to digestive power of the person eating. Eating food according to digestive power increases libdo, immunity, makes mind Happy, increases glow and remembrance power, energy. After breakfast a person should take medicine as it’s the best time for that.
Daily routine work/ Job/ School
Next Meal :-
Next meal should be taken when earlier food can be digested completely. Food should be eaten in alone, far from the singht of hens and without speaking doing aposite of this causes loss in money,Food should be taken twice a day. After meal 100 steps should be walked and after that rest should be done by resting left side for 2-3 min. then mouth should be cleaned with left hand and hand should be washed throughly. Signs food is digested :-
- Beleches ( Dakar).
- Feeling of lightness.
- Feeling of hunger.
Things not to be done in afternoon :-
Sleep should not be practised becoz it increases kaff except summers. It can be still practised by person who is practicing it from a long time, kid , old aged, awake for whole night, tired, walked a lot, suffering from pain, dairrehea, thrust with hiccups, Decreased kaff, constipation.
Things should not be done in evening :-
- Meal – causes diseases
- Sex – causes foetus Disorders
- Sleep – causes loss of wealth
- Study – Decreases life
- Travelling – causes fear among family members
