Defination
Hepatoprotection or anti hepatotoxicity is the ability of a chemical substance to prevent damage to the liver. This is opposite to hepatotoxicity.
Hepatoprotective drugs means the drugs that are prevent the liver disease. Hepatotoxicity has now become the most serious liver disorder, which accounts for about 15% of the world’s burden of diseases.
